AFC Liverpool’s Ground Announced

AFC Liverpool last night (Thu 12th June) signed a groundshare deal with Merseyside club Prescot Cables FC.

The agreement ensures that all AFC Liverpool home matches will be played at Valerie Park, Prescot in the forthcoming season.

Prescot, the birthplace of Liverpool FC captain Steven Gerrard, will now be the temporary home of AFC Liverpool.

The ground was chosen for a number of reasons, most notably easy transport links. Bus routes are plentiful, such as the regular number 10 bus. It also only takes 19 minutes from Lime Street by train - Prescot being the stop after Huyton.

Motorway links are excellent, and the ground is located close to the East Lancs.

Valerie Park also has an excellent stand running along the touchline which not only offers excellent views of the match itself, but is an old fashioned stand that throws out lots of noise when fans start singing.

We believe it will be an outstanding place for our fans to watch football, and will generate an incredible atmosphere for our players.

The capacity of Valerie Park is 3,200 and the ground is located in Hope Street, Prescot.

Many thanks to our friends at Prescot Cables FC.
