Cup Draw: Holker OB v AFC Liverpool

The first and second round draws of the Vodkat League Challenge Cup took place today at the League’s AGM.

As representatives of newly elected AFC Liverpool looked on, Holker Old Boys were drawn at home to AFC Liverpool in the very first tie out of the hat.

Should AFC Liverpool overcome Holker, they will face a tough test in round two away to Vodkat League Division Two champions New Mills.

The first round tie will take place in October.

Holker Old Boys are based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria, and are one of the furthest teams in the league. They finished 14th in Division Two last season.

New Mills, who will be competing in the league above AFC Liverpool next season, are based in Derbyshire.

Both matches promise to be cracking Cup away days.
