Liverpool County PL XI 0 v 5 AFC Liverpool - Friendly

This friendly was arranged with AFC Liverpool needing to keep match fitness up, and Liverpool County Premier League Representatives preparing for a game against the Isle of Man league.

Despite a half hour delay in kick-off, both sides came out determined to win this game. However, it was AFC Liverpool who took the lead in the first half, through Matty Williams.
The game continued in the same vein until half time, with both sides having some good chances.
Second half saw AFC Liverpool further their lead courtesy of John Kennedy, scoring from outside the box.
Although conditions were awful, the reds continued to push to secure their lead, and the 3rd goal duly came from Ian Orme on his debut.
Further goals from Chris Parkes, and a final 5th from Ian Orme secured the win for AFC Liverpool.
