Maine Road Preview

The Reds third game in six days sees them head to Manchester to take on Maine Road.

Two wins from the last two games sees the Reds going into this fixture full of confidence and just two days after rising off the bottom of the table, they will have the added incentive of climbing out of the relegation places should they beat Maine Road.

The hosts currently lie in seventeenth, thirteen points ahead of the Reds and since the last meeting between the two sides, which Maine Road won 2-0, they have picked up ten points from the eight games. Three straight defeated have been arrested by three wins from the last five with the latest a 2-1 over St Helens Town on Saturday.
